From BBBF to BCOCB: Empowering Bahrain-UK Trade Connections

The Bahrain British Business Forum (BBBF) has undergone a significant transformation, officially becoming the British Chamber of Commerce Bahrain (BCOCB). With the support of the Bahrain Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the BCOCB aims to strengthen trade relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom.

Operating as a not-for-profit membership organization, The BCOCB will continue under the leadership of Chairman, Khalid Al Zayani OBE and Vice Chair and Partner of Charles Russell SpeechlysPaula Boast MBE (pictured).

The primary objective of the BCOCB is to generate tangible business outcomes for its members, comprising companies and businesses from both Bahrain and the UK. The chamber serves as a platform for fostering bilateral trade, facilitating connections, and promoting collaboration on a local, regional, and global scale.

One of the key advantages for BCOCB members is access to the extensive Global Business Network of the British Chambers of Commerce, which includes 76 accredited chambers worldwide and 53 UK-based chambers engaged in international trade.

Paula Boast MBE, Vice Chair of the BCOCB and Partner of Charles Russell Speechlys comments:

“This is a momentous occasion for the BCOBC community and a great recognition of the deep-rooted relationship between the UK and the Kingdom of Bahrain. We are thrilled to be a Founding Member of this newly established organisation, continuing our dedication and commitment to promoting business and investment relationships between Bahrain and Britain within the local, regional and global business communities.”
