Baker McKenzie Guides GF in CPS Majority Stake Acquisition 

In a significant move in the industrial sector, global law firm Baker McKenzie has played a pivotal role in assisting Georg Fischer (GF), an international industrial powerhouse headquartered in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, specializing in piping, casting, and machining solutions. The firm provided crucial legal support for GF’s successful acquisition of a majority stake (51%) in Corys Piping System SPV (CPS), a prominent manufacturer of sustainable piping systems for the construction market in the Middle East, based in Dubai.

The acquisition underscores the strategic vision and commitment to expansion of both organizations. Under the terms of the agreement, GF has acquired a 51% stake in CPS, making a significant milestone in the growth of both entities. 

Baker McKenzie provided legal counsel to GF, addressing all the complexities of the deal and ensuring a seamless transaction.
