Baker Botts: Tamimi Markets Acquires Al Raya Supermarket Chain
Tamimi Markets Company (“Tamimi”), a prominent Saudi family-owned supermarket business, has successfully acquired 100% of Al Raya For Food Stuffs Company (“Al Raya”), a major supermarket chain operating in the Western region of Saudi Arabia.
The acquisition is a strategic move in line with Tamimi’s national growth strategy, enhancing its presence and market position in Western Saudi Arabia. Through this acquisition, Tamimi aims to capitalize on the synergies between the two companies, expanding its customer base and operations across multiple markets.
The Law Office of Mohanned bin Saud Al-Rasheed In Association with Baker Botts represented Tamimi as its legal counsel and anb capital acted as Tamimi’s sole financial advisor on this transaction.
