She brings sectoral expertise across oil and gas, energy transition, mining, and technology.
Alexander Currie advises across the energy, natural resources, and infrastructure sectors, with a focus on complex project development, financing, and restructuring in the oil and gas, mining, power, and technology industries. He has particular experience in LNG, cross-border pipelines, conventional and renewable power, and critical infrastructure.
The reaction
“This is a defining moment for Baker Botts,” commented managing partner Danny David. “Saudi Arabia is driving the global energy and technology conversation, and we’re all in. With Joza (Al Rasheed) and Alexander (Currie) joining, we’re strengthening our bridge between the Kingdom and the world’s major business hubs.”
