Baker Botts appoints new partner in the UAE: Alhassane Barry

Baker Botts expands its global projects department in the UAE with the arrival of Alhassane Barry (pictured) as partner and global head of mining and metals for countries outside of the US.

Throghout his career, Alhassane Barry worked across the U.S., Paris, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, serving in the global projects groups of Clifford Chance and Watson Farley & Williams.

The profile

Barry’s practice focuses on large-scale international project development and financing across mining and metals, oil and gas and other natural resources, power and infrastructure projects in Africa, Middle East, and Asia. He regurarly advises sponsors, developers, equity investors, traders, public entities and financiers on project development and financing matters globally, with a particular focus on emerging and growth markets.
