New Era: arbitrateAD Launches Today
The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has inaugurated the Abu Dhabi International Arbitration Centre, branded as arbitrateAD.
Effective today, the governance structure and arbitration rules of arbitrateAD will supersede those of the Abu Dhabi Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Centre (ADCCAC).
Maria Chedid (pictured), Partner and Global Chair of the International Arbitration Practice Group at Arnold & Porter, appointed as the President of the Court, expressed her honour in serving as the first President of the Court of Arbitration. She emphasized that the launch of arbitrateAD signifies a crucial step towards excellence, fairness, and efficiency in dispute resolution within Abu Dhabi and the broader region. Chedid believes that arbitrateAD will provide a reliable platform to meet the diverse needs of businesses across various industries, both in international and regional disputes.
