ALC and Mithaq Law Office Unveil Joint Venture in Saudi Arabia

ALC Alieldean Weshahi & Partners, in collaboration with Saudi firm Mithaq Law Office, has inaugurated a joint venture law office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The newly established office aims to cater to the diverse legal needs of both foreign and Saudi investors in the Kingdom, as well as to address the international requirements of Saudi companies. 

The joint venture, named Mithaq Law Firm in Association with ALC Alieldean Weshahi and Partners, boasts a team of 20 multilingual professionals in Riyadh and plans to expand its presence to other major business hubs in the region. Notably, the office will operate as a member of the Grimaldi Alliance, a renowned international network comprising over 2,000 professionals operating across more than 70 jurisdictions. 

Francesco Sciaudone, Managing Partner of Grimaldi Alliance, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “This unique firm and its partnership with Grimaldi will create a GA Saudi one-stop shop for the corporate law needs of clients in Saudi Arabia and beyond.” 

The joint venture will be led by prominent Saudi lawyers Abdulrahman Al Fuhaid and Ziyad Al Qassim from Mithaq Law Office, along with partners from ALC including Bahaa Alieldean and Ahmed Weshahi. The team will also include international professionals from Grimaldi Alliance.

In celebration of the launch, the partners and 35 lawyers of the joint venture hosted a special event at Al Zarqaa Majlis in Riyadh, attended by senior executives and shareholders of major Saudi clients. The event underscored Saudi Arabia’s efforts to expand its trade and investment ties globally, with recent initiatives including trade liberalization talks and agreements with countries such as South Korea, China, Japan, and the United Kingdom.
