Ahmed Singer named General Counsel at Al Salem Johnson Controls  

Al Salem Johnson Controls, a provider of integrated solutions in the fields of HVAC equipment, fire and security systems, building management systems, and controls, has appointed Ahmed Singer (pictured) as General Counsel- Legal & Compliance. In his new role, Singer will oversee the management of legal and compliance affairs for Johnson Controls Arabia’s region, which includes Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, Lebanon, and Yemen, as well as the Johnson Controls International Regional Head Quarter in Saudi Arabia. 

As General Counsel- Legal & Compliance, Singer will play a pivotal role in managing the legal and compliance affairs of Johnson Controls in the assigned regions. He will work closely with the company’s business units to ensure compliance with global strategies, vision, and mission. 

With over 15 years of experience in the corporate legal field in the Middle East, Singer brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new position. He has held positions of increased responsibility at prominent companies such as HSA Group, Elsewedy Electric, and Schneider Electric. Singer joined Al Salem Johnson Controls in 2019 as the Regional Legal Counsel for KSA, Egypt, Lebanon, and Yemen, where he has demonstrated exceptional dedication and motivation. 

Throughout his career, Singer has been actively involved in providing integrated legal services and consultations to individuals and corporations. He has extensive experience in drafting and reviewing various legal documents and is skilled in studying, negotiating, and evaluating complex projects such as EPC, BOOT, IPP, and Turnkey Projects. Additionally, Singer is well-versed in conducting legal risk assessments and providing comprehensive reports. His expertise extends to due diligence, litigation, pre-litigation, conciliation, labour investigations, and corporate formations, establishments, transformations, and amendments.
