Ahmed Abdel-Hafez member of 3rd edition of CEO Women Conference’s board

Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Hafez (pictured), Chairman of the Executive Bureau, Egyptian Supreme Cybersecurity Council and Vice President for Cyber Security Affairs, National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA), Egypt, will be part of the board members for CEO Women Conference.

Ahmed Abdel-Hafez’s career path

With over 32 years of experience in Telecommunication Systems, Dr. Ahmed has been a certified consultant in Information Security Systems (Engineering Syndicate of Egypt) since 2013. He played a key role in establishing and developing the Cryptography Research Center (CRC) under the Egyptian Ministry of Defense, where he managed, supervised, and built the capacity of the center’s team. For eight years, he led the design and development of a National Encryption Algorithm and the production of various cryptosystems for the defense and government sectors.

In addition to his professional and academic achievements, Dr. Ahmed chairs the Executive Bureau of the Egyptian Supreme Cybersecurity Council and is a key member of the council. In recognition of his significant and distinguished contributions, he was awarded the Second-Class Order of the Republic by the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, in 2020.

CEO Women Conference

CEO Women Conference, hosted annually and coming to its third edition, aims to enhance women’s leadership across different economic and investment sectors and celebrate successful female figures and CEOs on a local and regional level, as well as develop and strengthen the economic relations between businesswomen in the Middle East and Africa, and enhance the role of Arab and African women in decision-making and economic institutions management.
