ADSERO advises AKH Gold on gold exploration contracts in Egypt
ADSERO – Ragy Soliman & Partners, has advised AKH Gold Limited, a British company, on its two exploration licenses awarded by the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA) following the international bid round 1/2020 second round for gold and associated minerals.
The two licenses cover an area of 350 square kilometers in the Bir Asl and Jabal Al-Deet areas in the Eastern Desert, where AKH Gold plans to search for gold and other precious metals. The company had previously won several blocks in the first and second rounds of the international bid for gold exploration in Egypt.
The ADSERO team was led by partners Ragy Soliman (photo), Malak Khalil, and Sadeem Abdelsalam, who provided legal advice on the bidding process, the contract negotiations, and the regulatory framework for the mining sector in Egypt.
The signing of the contracts was witnessed by Tarek El-Molla, the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, who said that the reforms implemented in the mining sector had contributed to attracting investments from international companies and enhancing Egypt’s position on the global map of gold exploration.
