Addleshaw Goddard promotes new partner in Dubai

Addleshaw Goddard has promoted seventeen lawyers to partner in its 2026 round. The appointments include Dubai-based James Whittam (pictured), in force within the firm’s corporate finance practice.

Whittam advises corporates, financial institutions and private equity houses on a diverse range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate re-organisations, joint ventures and disposals, including specific experience in the retail and consumer space.

Prior to joining the UAE office in 2021, he worked in the firm’s Leeds location.
