Addleshaw Goddard expands UAE partnership
Addleshaw Goddard has bolstered its UAE partnership lineup with the relocation of senior partners Andrew Carter (pictured left) and Matthew Williams (pictured centre), alongside the appointment of construction and engineering partner Richard Davies (pictured right), all of whom will be based in the firm’s Abu Dhabi office.

Matthew Williams
Matthew Williams’ experience spans the full lifecycle of energy and projects and sector-specific M&A, including conventional power, renewables and energy transition mandates.Throughout his career, Williams served as the client relationship partner for energy market participants in both Europe and the Middle East.
Richard Davies
Joining from BCLP, Richard Davies advises on transactions and disputes relating to major development, construction and engineering projects across a variety of sectors, including rail, air mobility, airports, urban development, district cooling and desalination. Furthermore, Davies’ practice spans both contentious and non-contentious matters, including arbitration and litigation in the ADGM and DIFC courts.
