Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Unveils New Payment Hub

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has launched a new payment hub, transforming the way customers conduct their transfers. The bank collaborated with real-time payment solutions company, ProgressSoft, to integrate Cross-Border Services and expedite cross-border remittances.

The new payment hub allows customers to process transfers seamlessly, enhancing the speed, security, and efficiency of ADIB’s payment services across various channels and third-party networks.

Fernando Plaza Lopez, Chief Digital Officer, ADIB, commented on the launch, stating that the successful implementation of ProgressSoft’s Payments Hub Platform aligns with ADIB’s focus on driving digital-first solutions throughout the bank’s operations. He added that the robust new platform will revolutionize ADIB’s payment services and that the bank will continue to develop its digital capabilities to offer bespoke solutions for all stakeholders.

The dynamic platform is in line with ADIB’s vision to expand digital services at the front-end and global payment corridors at the back end. With its advanced and scalable features, the platform provides ADIB with the flexibility to adapt to market trends effortlessly, enabling the introduction of additional payment services with minimal disruption to its back-end systems.
