Clifford Chance advises Aldar and Mubadala JV on the Link acquisition
Clifford Chance has advised an Aldar Properties and Mubadala joint venture on the acquisition of The Link at Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, for AED 654 million. The asset comprises approximately 32,000 square metres of net leasable area across five commercial and residential buildings and is fully leased, with tenants including Masdar and the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence.
Joint venture background
The acquiring joint venture is a strategic partnership between Aldar and Mubadala with respect to Masdar City, established in 2024. Clifford Chance also advised Aldar on the formation of that partnership.
