Baker Botts with SMC on Almeria 25% stake sale to CR7 Sports Investments

Baker Botts advised Saudi Media Company, through its subsidiary, on the sale of a 25% stake in Spanish football club UD Almería to CR7 Sports Investments, the investment vehicle of footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The club, which competes in Spain’s Segunda División, is owned by a Saudi Arabian investment consortium led by SMC group.
