Gibson Dunn appoints new partner Waleed Rasrommani in Riyadh

Gibson Dunn officialised the appointment of corporate and M&A lawyer Waleed Rasrommani (pictured) as a partner in its Riyadh office.

The firm opened in the Saudi capital in 2023 and has since expanded its local team, most recently with the hiring of capital markets partner Najla Al-Gadi last year.

The profile

Rasrommani’s practices focuses on complex transactions in Saudi Arabia and across the Middle East, with a keen coverage on the energy, infrastructure, and private capital sectors. He advises both regional and international clients on public and private transactions, including cross-border M&A, joint ventures, strategic investments, and privatizations. Before joining Gibson Dunn, he served as the national managing partner in Saudi Arabia for Linklaters.
