Eversheds Sutherland appoints partner Zaid Al-Farisi in Riyadh

Eversheds Sutherland officialised the arrival of banking and finance partner Zaid Al-Farisi (pictured) to its Riyadh office.

Al-Farisi moves from King & Spalding, where he led the firm’s Saudi banking and finance practice. His arrival follows the appointments of partners Mike Rainey and Asal Saghari, also from King & Spalding.

In addition to these integrations, Eversheds Sutherland’s M&A partner Steve Jennings will further bolster the firm’s Riyadh corporate presence by working closely with the four associate team on the ground, whilst continuing to lead cross-border mandates across the GCC.

About Zaid Al-Farisi

Zaid Al-Farisi’s practice focuses on Shari’ah-compliant and conventional financings. He regularly advises lenders, borrowers, and sponsors across the full spectrum of transactions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as on restructurings and bankruptcy procedures.
