Dreny & Partners with Valu on 1.1 bn securitization

Dreny & Partners advised ValU’s  on the 20th  securitization transaction for the company’s consumer finance portfolio, amounting to EGP 1.1 billion. The operation falls within the broader context of a 3-year multi-issuance program with a total value of EGP 10 billion.

The banking syndicate

EFG Hermes Promoting & Underwriting S.A.E acted as the financial advisor and lead arranger on the transaction, while Arab African International Bank, EFG Hermes Promoting & Underwriting S.A.E and ABK served as the underwriters. Arab African International Bank worked as custodian and bookrunner; Baker Tilly (Hilal & Abdel Ghaffar) as the official auditor.
