Morgan Lewis opens new Riyadh location
Globally active law firm Morgan Lewis opens a new location in Riyadh.
The newborn office debuts with a six-member leadership team of senior legal professionals. M&A and capital markets partners Sultan Almasoud (pictured) – who will serve as the managing partner and head the firm’s Saudi Arabia practice – and Sanjarbek Abdukhalilov join the firm from A&O Shearman, while Saudi disputes lawyer Saeed Alqahtani arrives as legal counsel from Al Tamimi & Company.
The team will further integrate Morgan Lewis figures, including Saudi dispute resolution and international arbitration lead Sara K. Aranjo, Middle East practice co-lead Ayman A. Khaleq, and finance partner Sourabh Bhattacharya.
