Sebastiano Battaglino (pictured) is the new legal manager for Eni North Africa.
The profile
Since joining Eni as a legal counsel in 2022, Battaglino gained practical sectorial experience across the oil and gas industry, handling matters related to carbon capture, utilization and storage as well as engeeniring, procurement, and costruction.
A corporate law specialist, his expertise spans a plethora of legal areas including corporate governace, M&A, and corporate finance. Amongst several academic achievements, Battaglino holds a LLM in European and International business law from Leiden University.
The role
As of February 2025, he will contribute to manage all legal aspects of Eni’s activity in North Africa from their Libyan office in Tripoli. The company is in fact particularly present all-across the region, pursuing the exploration, development and production of hydrocarbons.
