Baker McKenzie with AMEA Power on $600m project
Helmy Hamza & Partners Baker McKenzie has advised AMEA Power, a renewable energy company, on a 500 MW, $600 million wind project in the Gulf of Suez.
The agreements were signed two years ago during the inauguration of AMEA’s Abydos 1 solar power plant in Aswan. This wind project is a critical step in mitigating climate change risks and is a key component of the government’s strategy to expand renewable energy sources and alleviate power outages.
